So before we get into your PR story, what's what is your story?

Well, I grew up in Berkeley, California, so I've always been a part of a very progressive environment and close-knit community in a lot of ways.

So being a part of a company like Anika PR that is so focused on amplifying the

voices of people of color and all types of other people who have built their

businesses and their successes from the

ground up is really important to me. I went to college in Boston at

Boston University and I studied advertising and it took me four years to figure out that I didn't want to go into advertising.

So PR has been a really great sort of branch off of that that has enabled that has enabled me to use a lot of my skills

that I learned both in college and otherwise in writing

and just promoting in general and putting all those good things
