Everybody everywhere is talking about the Elon Musk email scandal?

I don't think that's the right word.

We'll get to that in just a couple of moments because there are new developments after apparently

hundreds of thousands of federal workers did not respond with an email to Elon Musk after they

were told they needed to, if nothing else just to prove that they still work there, and that they're

reading emails, and that they know. We'll get to that in a moment. We start with a pretty

stunning piece of audio that I'll play for you from MSNBC and Rachel Maddow. I don't generally

speaking like to do, like a lot of the TV networks and just play for you, unhinged

liberals saying crazy things. There's enough of that out there. I think a lot of people see it.

So most days, I sort of stay away and I may mention something happen, but not really play it for

you because they can be terribly unhinged. I'll say something here about Rachel Maddow as we get started

that you may find slightly controversial or disagree with. I think she's a very talented

woman. I think she knows exactly what she's doing. I disagree with her almost completely on

every issue that comes up on cable news or this podcast

or anywhere else we're talking about America, exceptionalism, patriotism, all of the things

that we aspire for this country to be.

I don't believe she has the right path.

But I believe she's convicted in what she thinks.
