On this podcast, we discuss basically anything you would talk about with your own

sister. So, welcome to our fam. Hey guys, what's up? I'm Maddie. And I'm Lauren. And welcome or welcome

back to the podcast. I'm back in the studio in L.A. and Lauren's on Zoom. We haven't talked at all

about the weekend. I was away for the weekend for my birthday like we talked about last week.

So maybe we can give a little recap. And I want to hear what you guys have been up to the past few

days too because we literally haven't spoken. Lauren goes, why do you never answer my texts?

Yeah, I had to call her.

Apparently, she has no service in the desert. I was in the desert, very remote location,

no service. But also, you know, I was just enjoying my life off my phone, trying to be present,

okay? Yeah, living in the moment, something like that. So what have you been up to? How was the weekend? Well, I haven't been up to much compared to what you've probably been up to, but I think we went up to the cottage on Friday.

And then a few of our cousins were up there, so we were hanging out.

We honestly did not do much. We tried to go surfing and then it started pouring rain.

We drove around in the boat a little bit,

like, not much. So wholesome. Wholesome activities. Well, that's nice. I heard that there's a

tropical storm. Do you know about this? Kind of. I heard it's really hot up there. Is that the

tropical storm? I don't know. I'm not sure. I just have heard about a tropical

storm and then mom said it's 44 degrees Fahrenheit, which is probably like 115 Fahrenheit. No, sorry,
