All right, Alexander, let's talk about the possibility of France sending troops into Ukraine.

0:10.9

About two weeks ago, Macron was really talking this up.

0:15.7

Then NATO member states told Macron to forget about this idea, and now all of a sudden it's being

0:25.5

talked up again. And it looks like Macron is going to go ahead and send troops into Ukraine.

0:33.3

And it looks like he is going to do that with the support of Lord Cameron and the UK.

0:41.2

So what is going on here?

0:42.9

Yeah, I mean, he's completely obsessed with this and he's determined to do it.

0:47.3

And he's been told by the Germans and the Americans that they don't want him to do it.

1:53.6

which was not what the French were hoping to hear, but that was what Shoygoo said. So the French seem to be, Macrole personally,

2:04.0

seems to be committed to this. And he's going around now trying to find allies. So he's gone to

2:10.9

the Baltic states and of course they are allies up to a point, but not in a big way because they don't have armies.

2:20.4

The Finns have sort of dithered about this, but basically overall, they're not really up

2:26.0

to doing this either because their military is quite weak. The Germans are totally opposed.

2:32.4

I mean, they are completely against this whole project.
