So greetings from Kalamazoo, Michigan.

0:02.7

You've moved.

0:03.1

I've moved again.

0:03.9

I actually don't, when I was moving to Baltimore, we talked about it quite a bit in the lead-up.

0:08.0

But I don't think I've mentioned it at all on the show just because it's happened pretty fast.

0:13.7

But yes, we have moved from Baltimore to Kalamazoo, Michigan, for Emily's work yet again.

0:19.4

We're hoping that this is like the last move,

0:21.5

the final spot, assuming she likes her job at Western Michigan. The interesting thing that

0:26.7

I keep getting asked by people though, like now that I'm talking about the move and people are

0:31.2

curious is whether we hated Baltimore. And that is absolutely not the case. I feel obliged to say that we loved Baltimore

0:40.9

because Baltimore gets such a bad rep among a lot of people. Oh, really? But we absolutely loved

0:46.7

Baltimore. And if the opportunity ever presents itself to where we could go back, we would jump on

0:51.3

that in a heartbeat. I would be in the car the same day to get back to Baltimore. But this is where we are. I mean, this is my uncultured UK brain, but Kalamazoo sounds like a made-up place in like a TV show or something. But you were not the first person to say that. I was talking to Federico Vatici and John Voorhe said WWDC. Because I know John lived in Chicago Chicago for a while which is like two hours from here, two and a half hours from here. So like, yeah, we're moving Kalamazoo next month and Federico, the Italian that he is, was like, that's not a real place. There's no way that there's a place named Kalamazoo, Michigan. I was like, yeah, there is. And John backed me up. So it is a real place,

1:29.2

I promise. But one of the more interesting things about the move this week was I was on the road

1:36.1

driving from Baltimore to here at like a rest stop thing in Ohio charging the car. And I was just

1:43.2

sitting inside scrolling on TikTok or whatever like I do

1:46.0

and somebody came up to me and he goes are you chance and I was like yes and he goes

1:51.2

chance Miller from 9 to 5 Mac I was like yes and he was like oh I listen to the shows each week

1:56.9

and I love them and it's so great to meet you in person and that interaction his name was

2:01.2

Dustin was so pleasant and so cool just to like meet a listener in real life it was just such a

2:09.3

it made my day I told him it made my day or anything like app or related right just a completely

2:13.1

random shop literally like an interstate rest stop somewhere I couldn't even tell you what city
