J.P. Morgan analyst Rod Hall hit his firm's clients with a note on Tuesday that was both sensible and frustrating.

Mr. Hall and Mark Moskowitz coined a term earlier this year.

The term, I Anywhere, stands for the idea that Apple will at some point morph iOS and the MacOS into some

sort of hybrid operating system.

Moskowitz is no longer a J.P. Morgan.

Hall's their Apple man now, and he's still on this I-Aneware idea. In fact he's

doubling down on it. Apple and Sider did a piece on JP New Dude's note which says Apple's going to make an iPad with a keyboard and a mouse

to more closely replicate the laptop experience.

Why? Because there is so much money there.

To Hall's way of thinking, Apple is leaving something like 63 billion dollars on the table.

Or really, that's how much money could be made in the $500 to $1,000 laptop market, a market that Apple completely

ignores.

And because there is so much money there that he wants Apple to chase, Hall is telling his

clients that Apple will do a mouse and keyboard iPad in the next 12 months, while also

keeping the touch-friendly functionality of the
