Battery news big and small.

We'll start with the newest and smallest item of the two.

Tech Crunch says Apple has released official charging cases for two

of its three latest phones, those being iPhone 10-S and iPhone 10-R. The piece

says the cases maintain the similar design language as their predecessor, marking its

return for the first time since the iPhone 7. The familiar battery bump is back, but it now encompasses

the whole of the rear which should make

holding it less awkward and at the very least a bit better looking. Perhaps

proving that Hope Springs Eternal the piece says the new cases are Chi charger compatible,

meaning you won't have to pull the case off to charge the phone.

Sounds like they're ready for air power to come in for a landing.

The 10-S battery case should add 33 hours of additional talk time, according to the report. People talk on their phones?

The 10-R case will add 39 hours of talk time.
