were you making any assessment about their location or depth or closeness to the ground

when you were evaluating them yes and why were you considering the closeness of items to

the ground well common sense will dictate that if a item is found on the grass and

there's snow covering it that it would be would have to

have been placed prior to the snow accumulating if an item is shoved into the snow it will be
