Hello and welcome to love your life. What is your approach to happiness?

Even if you've never thought of it as such, you do have an approach to happiness.

I'll tell you what mine used to be in my pre-LOA days. I had a sort of happiness list. Actually, I had two lists,

a happiness list and an unhappiness list. And no, I didn't have things actually written down,

but these mental lists were definitely real in the sense they guided when I was happy

and when I was not. Here's a glimpse into what you would have found on my list. If service is

stellar at the restaurant, happy. If service is poor at the restaurant, unhappy. If attendance at my

workshop exceeds expectations, happy. If attendance at my workshop is fewer than expected,

unhappy. If I mark a bunch of things off my to-do list as done, happy. If I don't mark off as many things as I think I should,

unhappy. If the prospective client signs on, happy. If the prospective client doesn't sign on,

unhappy. If I turn on the TV and the news is good, happy.
