It is Surviving the Survivor, the show that brings you the very best guests in all of true crime right behind me, 500 Pearl Street, which is the home of the federal courthouse here in Lower Manhattan.

And it was an action-packed morning today, and we're trying to figure out the logistics of all this.

So bear with us.

But court is on a brief lunch break.

Only a 45-minute break right now.

A lot happened this morning, a lot to unpack.

I'm going to run through this.

And then we're going to bring you a full show this evening from an undisclosed location in

Lower Manhattan, as we are right now in Lower Manhattan.

Of course, today, day one officially in the books, at least the first half of the day,

of the Sean Diddy Combs trial.

Obviously, jury selection began last week, and it continued today because one juror kind of got cold feet

and Judge Arun Subramanian who's presiding over this wanted to give jurors the weekend to see if

anyone else potentially would get cold feet as well with one juror dropping out but But today, inside this federal courthouse, they were able to seat a jury of Mr.

Sean Combs' peers.

There are 18 total jurors, 12 who will serve as regular jurors, six alternates.

Those alternates do not yet know who they are. So the proceedings

happened here on the 26th floor, courtroom 26B right upstairs. There's so much demand this
