And last night, the Lakers got a win over a short-handed Denver Nuggets team.

Yokic and Murray were late scratch. And the Lakers came out with a downright euphoric first quarter,

the 46 points in which Luca Donchich had 20 points in the first seven minutes.

And it was on a whole array of different moves, on different defenders, type of shots,

just really showed his whole bag as a scorer.

It was the fourth time that he's had a 15.1st quarter with the Lakers,

and that kind of shows this dynamic that we've been talking about recently

that we saw play out once again in last night's game,

where you don't really want to double team a guy on the perimeter.

That's not how they want to play defense.

And that's true of pretty much any defense you're going to talk about.

And so they're going to try their luck starting out in single coverage on Luca.
