What's up, Laker fans? Welcome to the Laker Film Room podcast. I'm Pete, joined by Darius.

Indeed, the great eras of Lakers basketball have always been defined by their star duo, starting

in Los Angeles with Weston Baylor, then West in Chamberlain, then Magic

and Cream, Shaq and Kobe, Kobe and Powell, LeBron and AD, and now, again, overnight,

we're entering a new era of LeBron and Luca, just blows the mind to think about it.

So we're going to talk about that today.

And what that means, it almost as though they're the only two people on the team.

I know they're going to be on the roster on the other side of this trade deadline.

And I'm fairly sure Austin will be as well.

But I don't know what this week is going to look like.

We'll talk about that in a couple other pods going forward.

But how do Luca and LeBron play together, Dee? I think of our friend Mike Garcia. He puts the

jumbo initiator as the king of the mountain, right, in terms of the player archetype that is most desired,

that 6-8 type of guy who I'll let Mike define that term for himself.
