Welcome to Jimmy's Jobs of the Future. Today we're joined by Lucy Fraser, who is widely

seen as one of the future stars of the Conservative Party. She is currently holding one of the

best jobs in government, the job of sector of state for culture, media and sports. Three

areas that we are massively passionate about on this podcast and the growth in jobs that we are

seeing right across the creative sectors. We talk to Lucy in depth about that today,

but we also talk to her about her role as part of the King's Council before entering politics.

billion invested in the UK creative industries and that has supported more than 16,000 jobs

across publishing, film, TV production, audio, books, fashion and games. Those jobs are

spread right across the UK with over half of them coming outside of London and the South East.

Amazon has doubled its investment in the creative sectors across the UK in the last 4 years alone.

With a record number of prime video originals filmed in the UK, a new studios and facilities for

Amazon Music, Audible and Prime Video, including the new production facilities at Shepperton

Studio. Amazon is working to build the pipeline of creative talent, funding 100 more creative

industry apprenticeships and announcing the second phase of Prime Video Pathway, an initiative

designed to open up access to jobs in TV and film, which will support 250 additional trainees
