almost every cell has insulin receptors. You know, when you have insulin,

insulin binds to the receptor and it helps glucose get into the cell. But the problem is that

when you're constantly eating foods that are over stimulating your

pancreas, they're secreting lots of insulin.

Those cells and those receptors become overwhelmed.

And what happens is that the cell says, I have too much glucose, I can't take any more in,

so they just get rid of the receptors. Well if that happens

then glucose can't get into the cell right because you don't have a receptor.

So the pancreas says hey there's a lot of glucose in this bloodstream it can't stay here

I'm gonna secrete more

insulin to hopefully get the glucose out of the blood and into the cell. So now you

have more insulin secreting, you have more of those receptors internalizing, and

over time this becomes diabetes.
