Hello beloved survivors, we have a different kind of episode coming to you this week.

So last week, Adrienne was supposed to fly out and visit me in Minnesota, but the day that

she was supposed to arrive, one of my kids tested positive for COVID. So we had to cancel

her trip last minute. And in addition to a lot of the things that were delayed and changed

through this unexpected moment, we were supposed to do some recording together when she was here.

So I had this idea, sometimes Adrienne and I exchange long voice messages as a part of just

how we see and touch with each other. And so I had this idea that we instead of recording in

the traditional way that we would, which was going to be really hard for me being quarantined

with my kids, I had the idea that we just exchange some voice notes on a topic. And Adrienne started

us off. And then we just went back and forth and then we sent the audio to our producer, Zach. And

what you're about to hear is the result of that extended voice note conversation. Really hope
