My heart is that more and more people would come to know Jesus Christ and to know his precious word.

Now in this episode, I am continuing the series that I have been in on the local church.

This is part seven in that series.

And this is the second episode wherein I am going to focus specifically on the call for believers

to love one another within the body of Christ.

Okay. Christ. Let's dial in. Now in our previous episode, we looked at the high calling the believer has to love one another. Jesus says in John 1335, by this, all men will come to know that you are my disciples if you love one another meaning that the

christians love for other christians is the evidence to the watching world that they truly do belong

to jesus not only are we commanded to love one another jesus says that we are commanded

to love to a degree and quality that the world knows nothing about jesus says in john 1334 that we are commanded to love to a degree and quality that the world knows nothing about.

Jesus says in John 1334 that we are to love one another, how much? He says, just as I have loved

you. Think about that for a moment. Jesus says, love others like I love you.

Jesus will say in John 15, verse 12,

this is my commandment that you love one another

just as I have loved you again.

Then he says in verse 13,

greater love has no one than this,

that one laid down his life for his friends.

And then John 1517 says,

this I command you, that you love one another.
