We actually take the time to put God's word back in context, what a thought thought and use sound biblical hermonutics proper exegesis a Christ

centered approach to scripture yeah it's about Jesus it really is it's about what Jesus is doing for you and it's about him. He's the

subject. He is the object of our faith, if you would. And so when you insert yourself into the text you are never going to be able

to figure out what the text is about for real until you get yourself out of the way and understand

that you're part of the problem that Jesus is solving.
