love island UK. I always confused too. So delighted to be talking about the first two episodes

plus a few minutes of this new Love is Blind UK season with

my colleague Jody Walker. Hi Jody.

Hey Juliette, I'm so excited to get all of your British expertise. Some of this is new to me as a non- Love Island

watcher, but I'm curious about the differences.

Well, so one of the joys of Love Island UK is the slang and learning.

And so at the very beginning, the hosts, Matt and Emma Willis,

who I will come back to in a second.

He says, I'm very aware that I'm punching and punching I'm very aware that I'm

punching mate. Punching is a big Britishism do you know that one you know I

used my context clues in terms that I feel like we have an

American version of that right like punching out of your weight class you know it's

just a little more elongated so I I don't know it from Love Island specifically but I did gather what he meant

he's also correct that that woman host Willis, is so devastatingly beautiful.
