Summary
In today’s devotional, we’re going to look at the role of forgiveness in putting our love into action. In God we have forgiveness for every sin we can commit. And that forgiveness not only washes us clean, but empowers us to become like our great Forgiver.
Every day we’re wronged in some way. And every day is an opportunity to show others forgiveness, not because they deserve it, but because loving forgiveness is the way of our Good Shepherd, the author and founder of our faith. May God empower us to forgive as he does today.
Our Scripture for today comes from Ephesians 4:32, and today's worship is Landslide by Rita Springer.

As believers, we want a real connection with God every day, not just on Sunday. We want the peace and passion that comes from living with God, not for God. But when Monday morning rolls around we’re left thinking:

| 1:35.0 | God offers us forgiveness because He is love. |

| 1:47.0 | Sin stood between us and God, like a great chasm separating a wanderer from an oasis. |
| 1:56.0 | And so great was the Father's love for us that he sent his only son that we might be justly forgiven. |
| 2:04.6 | Jesus fully bore the weight of our sin, and in doing so, he received the wrath of God on our behalf, |
| 2:13.6 | that we might be afforded, restored relationship with our Heavenly Father. |
