We took the week off because of July 4th, we briefly toyed with the idea of coming back

and doing a podcast last week because the episode of House of the Dragon was worth discussing.

But, you know, at a cost-benefit kind of thing, it's like, yeah, we could record it and get no downloads at all, and then people are not, you know.

So we decided to do what everybody else in America did and take four days off, which was actually really nice.

It was nice to have those four days off, although, listen, no complaints. I will say this till the day I die. I love the job that we have carved out for ourselves. I love that we get to do what we do. But in terms of downsides, there is no day off. There are rarely ever days off. Even when we travel to Europe,

for example, I mean, we're still working on the hotel, in the hotel room. Yeah, we've worked in so

many hotels. Every hotel room we've stayed in in the last 15 years we worked in as well. Yes,

when we're exhausted, you know, came back from a whole day boo-hoo anyway. Yeah, I mean, again, not really asking for any. We get to make

our own hours. We get to be our own bosses. So this is all great. But there are no days off ever.

And except for like Christmas Day or something like that. But it was not. And, you know,

social media being what it is, which is a trash fire, and, you know, it's a presidential

election year. So I, we are not spending a lot of time fooling around on social media anymore
