The Bender, I hear you getting into a new role-playing game that I bet a lot of the listeners have played before,

but I've never played before. I don't think any of us has played before.

I never even heard of it until we started talking about it for the show. It actually

I had a little time to look into it. It looks pretty cool. Nice. Well, what is it? Mutants and

masterminds, the third edition. Now, I've heard about this one quite often. This is a superhero's game, right? Indeed.

So a friend of mine, the same one we're playing Shattering with, decided that he wanted a little change of pace. I think it's because he's seen that umbrella academy. Are you familiar?

Oh yeah. I watch that show. It's an amazing show. Yeah. So it's like a little bit of like a

superhero kick got under people's skin. So he's like, hey, check out Mutants and Mastermind.

And I was reading the document. And at first, I didn't really like this system. I just got to say

the initial impressions for me was like, this is just outrageous and I'm not interested in it.

You know, it's funny with a lot of roleplaying games, when you go from Dungeons and Dragons to a

different role playing system, that's a lot

different, like really different than that system.
