You're listening to the wife of an alcoholic podcast. Do you over complicate things in your life? Do you make a decision only to doubt is it the right

one? Do you stay stuck in your situation because you're afraid that you'll make the wrong move or that you'll make a move

too soon or too late or even worse you'll make the wrong move. I know I suffer from that. So many times when I presented a

decision, especially big ones, I sit there and I work them and rework them over and over in my head.

What if I did this, but what if I did that?

What if this is the wrong move?

And I analyze it from every angle. It can be exhausting. It can lead to me

feeling extremely frustrated and it can make me inactive and refusing to take the steps that I'm feeling led to take.

So the other day, I created a checklist to make sure that every decision that I'm making matches what I think

God would bless.

And then if I feel like it's the right decision

based on this checklist, I make a promise

to take action immediately, to move forward

with courage and strength knowing that I clearly have his

permission and that I can stand on God's promises and if I can do that then what other confirmation do I really need? I don't

need the approval of others. I don't need some sign telling me, I don't even need anyone else to give me permission.

So here's the checklist that I developed that I wanted to share with you. Are you ready? It's super simple and it's not hard.

If it's kind, if I'm doing it with a kind heart or it's an act of kindness. I know that it's God's will. If it's an act of

strength and courage, I know that it's God's will. Now notice I didn't say if it's an act that allows me to

feel comfortable or safe. I use the word strength and courage which sometimes are the

exact opposite of comfortable and safe, but we are

commanded many times to act with strength and courage.
