| 0:00.0 | Hello my friends Kevin here from Epic Gardening we are recuperating resting and |
| 0:16.7 | planning for 2024 so today's episode is a rerun of some of our favorites from years past. |
| 0:23.7 | Hope you enjoy. |
| 0:24.4 | Welcome back everyone. |
| 0:27.4 | Hope you are doing well, hope you're staying warm. |
| 0:29.4 | It's actually been weirdly cold here. |
| 0:31.8 | And I know when I say cold for us you know a lot of |
| 0:34.5 | you were probably rolling your eyes but Jacques your hose and your part of your |
| 0:38.4 | garden actually froze over. Yeah I was actually surprised I do get frost usually but this time I went out there to water a mushroom patch |
| 0:45.5 | and I went to turn the hose on I tried pushing the little thumb thing to like turn it on |
| 0:50.7 | and it wouldn't move and I was like that's weird and I pick it up and the whole |
| 0:54.8 | hose is like solid and so I unscrew the actual like hose link part there was fully an ice |

| 1:10.4 | I've never had that before the day you were sharing that you got frost I got a |
| 1:15.1 | little scared because remember last year when we did the potatoes I had that frost |
| 1:18.5 | damage on the potatoes and here it came again I think what it is is we have this coastal sort of breeze that |
| 1:24.9 | comes through more or less 24-7 at least a couple miles an hour and I think at |
| 1:30.0 | night first of all it gets colder down here where we are relative to most areas of |
| 1:34.8 | San Diego. |
| 1:35.8 | And then secondly, I think closer towards the ground with the wind kind of whipping through, |
| 1:41.8 | you get, I don't even know how much colder, but I would say at least like 5 |
| 1:45.6 | to 10 degrees cold. |
