Today, James Cameron's Avatar, The Wavewater, has become the fourth highest-grossing film in Hollywood history.

And which film did Wavewater?

Did it pass the Force Awakens?

There we go.

Yeah.

I was sad but happy because now that Disney's in bed with 20th Century Fox, so it's okay that at least it goes that way, right?

I just sometimes it's startled when you talk about numbers like this.

Like, Wavewater has been out in theaters for 43 days at this point and has achieved a gross two date of $2 billion, $75 million, which means it managed to blow past Star Wars, The Force Awakens, which earned $2 billion, $71 million.

Of course, Force Awakens is the film that introduced the world to Daisy Ridley's character, Ray Skywalker.

Wondering if you saw any of the interviews that Ms. Ridley has been doing over the past couple of weeks?

Oh, you mean the one where she got married?

Because that catches so big news, right?

Oh, no, I think you mean that one where she is, where she said that Star Wars has reached out to her or Lucasfilm have reached out to her.

She's been fairly coy about this.

I mean, Ms. Ridley is out, she's doing Sundance this past week or thereabouts and she was tired.

While she was out doing press for her latest movie, sometimes I think about dying.

For starters, the folks at IMDB asked if she'd be willing to play Ray in another Star Wars movie.

And she laughed and said, yeah, well, I'm open to a phone call. I'm looking for employment.
