Sad news right at the top. My producers alerted me that Rush Limbaugh passed away today.

And I'll tell you, if you like the show, you like what I do. I mean, like millions of

other guys out there. I was influenced by this guy. I kept hearing his name in the 80s.

I didn't really follow politics and and kept hearing, oh, what a racist and a side. And

I put it on for a week. And I said that they're talking about this guy who's speaking the truth.

And and he was, look, most successful radio show ever. I mean, maybe Stern might rival

it a little bit, but this guy had 27 million listeners a day. He started out in Sacramento

as like a FM DJ. And he only, you know, at that station, he could only talk in between

songs for like 30 seconds or a minute. And he would throw in little things, little

how he felt about the news and stuff. And somebody noticed him. And when he first started

in 1988, 33 years ago, he had like only 56 markets. And then at his peak, he had 600

markets. Do you understand the money that is? I mean, scary. And and the thing is people

always bad mouth them and oh, yeah, but, but, but, but, well, you know what? When you listen

with show like that, I'm care if it's left or right. If the guy, the guy doing the woman

doing the show, um, says stuff. And then you watch the news and go nice full of shit on

that. This and that. You don't go back to the show. So that speaks to this guy. I mean,

had such a huge follow. He always took an angle, no matter what the breaking news, the big

story was I'd watch Fox. I'd watch other stuff. CNN, all those show. He would always have

an angle from the right that was so smart and different than even other conservatives.

And look at he influenced Hannity, Mark Levin. He is the godfather of radio. I mean, like
