0:00.0	Last year, a trucker named William Church was driving down the Arizona State Highway 87,
0:07.5	a route he had done a bunch of times.
0:10.2	He was in between Phoenix and Payson, a part of the highway that runs mostly through desert
0:15.8	with really nothing on either side for miles.
0:19.4	It can be really mind-numbing, driving through the empty
0:22.8	landscape, especially at 2.30 in the morning like William was doing. So I imagine he was doing his
0:29.8	best to stay awake, when all of a sudden he caught something out of the corner of his eye.
0:36.5	It was like a flash of light on the right side of the road,
0:39.6	almost like there was a piece of metal
0:42.4	or something that his lights reflected off of,
0:45.1	a car on the shoulder perhaps.
0:47.8	But as fast as he saw it, he drove past it.
0:51.6	He checked his rearview mirror only to see nothing.
0:55.2	Whatever was there was completely gone.
0:58.7	Eventually, he pulled over to a truck stop,
1:01.6	but was still thinking of that weird light.
1:04.3	So he decided to look at his dash cam footage.
1:07.2	It had been recording the whole time,
1:08.9	and maybe it had caught a clearer image.
1:12.7	But he could have never guessed what he was about to see.
1:17.5	There was something on the side of the road near the 200-mile marker, and it wasn't a solid object.
