Welcome to another episode of Surviving the Survivor.

We do a series called Surviving My Biggest Case, and we bring on retired law enforcement, attorneys,

you name it, criminal profilers, and they tell us the biggest case that they have worked in

their career, or at least one that stands out to them. Now, many of you probably remember

the hit Netflix show about Anna Delvey, which was called

Inventing Anna. And today, David Sarnie is going to tell us a very similar story that

preceded this. So I guess in other words, it is the OG Anna Delvey story. So Anna can take a backseat to this.

Before we get started, David Sarny is a retired NYPD detective.

I worked within several positions during his more than 27-year career.

He is Brooklyn born and bred.

He was a detective.

He played a crucial role and then teaching detectives afterwards.

And now he is an actual teacher, professor at the John Jay School of Criminal Justice in New York City,

probably the finest criminal justice school in the nation.
