And Germanicus is gathered round to comment on events not in the

first century a d where we enjoy security confidence we're very far from Rome but in the 21st century where there's all is disorder

though we go immediately to the battle front in Ukraine which is not illustrative of anything but chaos.

Russia's massing its forces around Kasev Yar in eastern Ukraine as it seeks to make a breakthrough in the Danets region according to

Kief. In other words the source on this is Ukraine itself. Russian forces appear

to be making a push on the strategic city which lies several miles. and Ukrainian official added that the Kremlin is hoping to advance soon.

I have been told that the expectation is a May-June jump off for a Russian offensive and that weapon systems are being

assembled now to counter the offensive however that's so much talk we go to

Germanicus to comment on a Russian offensive. Germanicus, this

comes at the same time. Mr. McCrone, after gathering leaders of Europe in Paris, commented that it may be necessary to send

troops to Ukraine. That elicited a response from Mr. Putin who was making a routine campaign address to the elite of Russia, saying that in the

event that NATO sends troops into Ukraine, Russia will respond and there will be tragic consequences.

He also mentioned nuclear weapons.

So what we have here is the leader of the Russian forces and certainly one of the leaders of Europe commenting upon a very

bad turn of events in Ukraine while Russia is preparing an offensive.
