In these last days, it's become increasingly likely that the new emperor, Mr. Trump,

will settle the Ukrainian conflict before it gets any worse for what's left of Ukraine,

and will settle in a way that pleases the Kremlin's claim

of the Dunbass of Nova Rasea, without Odessa, I believe, and satisfies the Ukrainian people

who are exhausted. And the number of casualties in the Ukraine is staggering, given the original population,

which is now largely fled. It's a hollowed-out country. However, at the same time, Syria,

which was comfortably part of the Russian Empire, Assad depending upon the deployment of Russian professionals at two or more bases in Syria
