I am Gaius and we're discussing beginning the recognition that Ukraine is not going to win.

It's not going to lose immediately,

but it's not now being resupplied.

Why it's not being resupplied has many reasons but one of them is

that Brussels, the headquarters of NATO,

has recently come together to vote for 1.2 or 1.3 billion euros of

ammunition. The ammunition is for Ukraine sort of. There was a caveat that some of it is necessary to reorganize the

arsenals of NATO nations that were depleted by sending its shells to Ukraine.

There is one more twist, and this is a big twist, something we couldn't see as recently as a month ago.

The more this move comes amid a surge in rhetoric from senior British and American

military officials about the increasing prospect of war with

Russia, the second largest atomic weapon power after the US.

That's the London Times, within these last hours. Germanicus, the Ukraine

war has exposed NATO's frailties. Russia has converted to an all-defense industry. It's paying high

wages, the defense business is working 24 hours a day, all of it is aimed at standing up to NATO. That was always the Russian

explanation of the Ukraine war. We fought defensively in Ukraine to stop the advance of

NATO as it crept closer and closer to Petersburg
