Dramaticus Macavlios and I are in Londinium, and we're looking at 22 months of Washington not learning that Ukraine, the Ukraine war, was a frustrating opportunity to stay away from Europe and the tangle of taking on the Russian

empire. They didn't learn the lesson, so the question now is, is this about NATO? Is NATO learning a lesson? What happened in

the last 22 months is that NATO has become more and more involved in resupplying

and aiding and training of the

Ukrainians at the same time NATO's built a defensive wall that now is from

Romania all the way to Finland. It's a wall. Poland is at

the center, the Baltic states are near the center, the Baltic Sea and the Black

Sea can easily become NATO lakes. However, in building that

wall, they've responded in a fashion that endorses the original opinion by

Vladimir Putin and the Kremlin, which was we're fighting a defensive

war against the aggressive war of NATO.

That was what Mr. Putin explained to the Russian public and perhaps contributes to the fact that

Mr. Putin remains with a very high approval rating and the war remains very popular with the Russian

people who are accustomed to winning ugly and making sacrifices.

And has NATO learned that it is in a tangle in Ukraine that it cannot win.

That as Germanicus says, it's Vietnam.

As I say, it's Afghanistan.

NATO as a collective of electorates and the people that form those electorates is awakening.

It's coming to a long needed recognition of the true relationship

between the NATO alliance, or so-called alliance, and the United States.
