Roman citizen in Lundinium, surrounded by our Greek assistants who run our estates. We're

propertyed men, equist class. We don't work. And the Centurians retired and their families in the marketplace.

And the garrison, I emphasize the garrison tonight, Germanicus,

because of our fresh understanding of what will happen to Roman Britain in the beginning

of the 5th century A.D.

It's the end of the year. It's good to assess where we are in the first century, but the 21st century is compelling. And so we start there

with what is called a transition underway between one presidency and another, between one emperor and another.
