NATO is launching its largest exercise since the Cold War, rehearsing how U.S. troops could reinforce European allies in countries bordering Russia and on the

alliance's eastern flank if a conflict were to flare up with a near peer adversary.

Some 90,000 troops are due to join the Steadfast Defender 2024 drills

who will run through May, according to General Chris Kavoli, the commander of NATO.

At the same time, we have headlines in London from the telegraph.

For example, Putin could attack NATO countries in five to eight years, Germany warns.

Or Putin could declare war on NATO in the next 20 years or former NATO chief. If Ukraine loses our enemies

will decide the world order. I could go on Germanicus but the point is

NATO is now preparing for the defeat in Ukraine.

It's building up its exercises in order to convey to the Russians not to try in the Baltics what they just were

successful at winning in Ukraine is it going to work is that a message that

Russia will hear?

The um, the bleedings

and the the shrill eruptions from NATO officers all point to a tremendous anxiety,

not that Russia will ever invade NATO, but that NATO will fail as a result of all of its missteps in Ukraine

as a result of its absurd and manipulative strategy, that is to say,

manipulating Western audiences and electorates,

that this war was worth fighting, and this war was worth fighting and this war was going to be inevitably a great

victory it was going to bring down Russia all of that was a lie and so the stage is set for not just the collapse of Ukraine and a great

Russian victory but also for NATO no confidence vote in the sense that there are a lot of elections
