Welcome once again to another edition of the Lions of Liberty podcast.

And as always, it's another sunny day here in Los Angeles.

Since it's summertime, hopefully it's a sunny day for most of you.

I may have some listeners in areas of the world where it's not summer.

Maybe I even have some listeners in the Antarctic or the Arctic where it's freaking freezing in here, Mr. Bigglesworth.

Sorry, I had to get my Austin Powers reference in.

But, you know, I like the sun personally.

I like warm weather.

It's one of the contributing factors as to why I moved out here to L.A. oh, a decade or so ago.

But there are a lot of people out there concerned that the planet is getting too warm,

that human beings are causing this warming through carbon dioxide emissions.

And as a result, they often advocate policies, whether it's carbon credits,

disallowing coal plants, etc., in order to combat this. As a libertarian, concerned with individual

rights, I'm certainly concerned when governments come in and make blanket statements and say,

X is caused by Y, therefore we must institute policy Z,

...
