I know I said I want to talk about Randy Featner and his offense today and what is going

to be different about the Randy Featner offense from the Todd Haley offense.

But we're going to delay that for a day.

Reggie Bush made some comments on good Morning Football that I have to address,

some comments about Tomlin and the loss to Jacksonville and whether or not there is a history of this.

I want to play those comments for you today, and we will talk about that.

One of these narratives that I just think is continues to be strong by the

media. I don't think it has any truth to it, so we'll address that today. All right, let's start

with the news and notes of the day. Gerald Hawkins and Jake McGee both placed on injured reserve.

I are with season-ending injuries. Again, we talked about them last week.

Hawkins being the offensive tackle, who I felt like had a big chance to step up this season

and won't get that opportunity now.

Jake McGee, on the other hand, was a guy who was going to compete for a roster spot.

Potentially could push Xavier Grimble for the third tight-end spot.

He won't get an opportunity to do that.

Both guys on injured reserve now.

Again, what this means is that they're likely gone for the season,

although with the way I think the new injured reserve rules work,

you don't have to designate them to return.
