Let's continue our re-review of the Steelers 2017 season.

We are through eight weeks now of the season going into week nine is the bye week.

And so let's spend some time at the top of this podcast reflecting on what we've seen

already being that week nine was the by week.

And the Steelers got a week to reflect.

We'll take a little bit of time here on the podcast to reflect on the last eight weeks.

And as I said, as we started this entire process, it was a strange year.

2017 was a strange year, at least the first parts of it, because we had such different

expectations than what we got.

And it felt like, especially early in the season, defensively, we were a better team than

we were offensively.

And that is, you know, that is shocking because the expectation was defensively that we

were going to be below average or at least just, you know, the best we could hope for was average.

And that offensively we would be one of the best teams in football.

But to this point, that really hadn't been the case.

We certainly had struggled to put up consistently 20 points or more a game.

I shouldn't say that we struggled to put up 20 points a game.

But, you know, it was a, I should say it was a struggle to put up the 20 points a game that we were putting up.

It was not coming easy to this offense.

Defensively, you know, it wasn't coming easy getting the stops that they were getting in,
