take a look at what this means, right? There's been so much negativity about this draft,

and specifically the 2018 season where, you know, a lot of people were expecting the Steelers

to get more immediate help for this team. So let's talk about the seven players the Steelers

brought in in this draft, starting with Safety Terrell Edmonds out of Virginia Tech. The Steelers take him in the first round pick

28. No longer a question of value for me here, right? You know, we had talked so much about, did

the Steelers reach with this pick? Look, the safeties in this draft were, the value of them were

all over the place and much different

than I think a lot of people had assumed.

So my questions on this are no longer about value.

They're much more about his ability to contribute early, especially in the free safety role.

Taking a player like Terrell Edmonds, who figures to be much more of a strong safety

or in the box safety early in his career,

means that the Steelers now have three of those players on the roster with Sean Davis and Morgan Burnett.

So someone is going to have to play out of position at free safety now.

And my other question with this is he's a raw player.

He doesn't have a lot of coverage skills,

and that's really going to have to be coached up.
