I am your host, Tony Serino, and this is your daily dose of all things, Steelers.

The first round is in the books, and we have a lot, a lot to go over.

Not only did the Steelers pick Terrell Edmunds, the safety out of Virginia Tech in the first round.

They also traded away Martavis Bryant to the Oakland Raiders for a third round pick,

pick number 72, meaning that today the Steelers will have three picks, two third round

picks and a second round pick.

But they also have a glaring need now at wide receiver.

So let's break it down.

And let's start with how this draft played itself out before we get to Terrell Edmonds

himself.

This draft started playing itself out early pretty much by the book, right?

Nothing hugely shocking.

Baker Mayfield, we had heard that

all day that Baker Mayfield was going to be the pick at number one, and we had all started

to play out in our minds how that would play out, right? Would the Giants go Sam Darnold? Would

they go Sequin Barkley? And really, the only shocker within the top 10, really, was that Denzel Ward went forth to the Browns instead of Bradley Chubb.

But it played itself out pretty much, you know, by the book being that we, everyone had really mocked Chubb to the Browns and Ward to the Broncos.

And so really just flipped those two picks.

Nothing really out of the ordinary, right?

Tremaine Edmins didn't go in the top 10, which was a little interesting.

Mike McGlinchy instead going to the 49ers.
