Today on the podcast, we're going to talk about Kevin Colbert and Mike Tomlin's comments they made today at their pre-draft press conference talking about this draft class as a whole and kind of how deep it is.

It's some interesting thoughts there. They talked about Morgan Burnett and where he figures to play a role on this defense.

And also talking about the quarterback position.

If there are any positions in this draft that they've taken off the board, we'll talk about all of that.

But let's start today with news about Levi-on-Bell.

They began the press conference today talking about

LaVian-Bel's contract situation and basically just giving an update that there is no update,

right? We had heard them already say at the owner's meetings that there wasn't going to be

an update on Levy on Bell's contract situation until after the draft. And that held true,

right? As they talked about today, this has been a process to prepare for the draft and they are true right they as they talked about today this has been a process to prepare for

the draft and they are leaving all contract extensions off the board until after the draft and that goes

for chris bris boswell's contract extension as well right that's another contract extension

that we're expecting that we haven't gotten the steelers also announcing today that they've picked up

the fifth year

option for Bud Dupree's contract. So he will play two more years for the Steelers. Again, they could

cut him after this year if he doesn't perform well. The contract is guaranteed for injury. So if he

were to have some sort of injury going into next year, they would have to keep him.

But other than that, they could cut him after this year.

But from listening to Tomlin and Kevin Colbert talk today, they seem very steadfast that he will be on the team for two more years.

Number one, you look at depth on this team, right?
