of all things Steelers. Today on the podcast, I want to talk about Joe Hayden's comments that he made today.

Remember the off-season workouts have begun, so players are at the facility, and Joe Hayden talking

to the media today about what went wrong in 2017 and how he thinks they can fix those problems going

into 2018. We'll also talk today about the wide receiver class and the Steelers likely to go

wide receiver in rounds two, three, maybe even five, depending on where this class shakes out.

I want to talk about six receivers today that I think would be

good selections in either round two or three if they go in that direction. But let's start today,

as we do every day, with some Steelers news and notes. And really the only thing of note today is that

Ronnie Harrison, the safety out of Alabama, came to Pittsburgh to visit, had maybe a workout with them.

Again, Ronnie Harrison, one of those Alabama defensive players that the Steelers met with

at their pro day, took out a bunch of these guys to dinner.

And he's one of those safeties that fits again into that round two to three range

when you're talking about where these guys are projected to be taken in the

draft.

So again, more fuel to the fire of are the Steelers really valuing safety at the top end of

this draft, especially round 1, or are they happier waiting until potentially round 2 or

3 to take their guy?

I think this is them getting themselves prepared for, you know, whether they take a Vander Esh

or an Evans in round one, and then, you know, you can go with round two or three safety. It seems

like that may be a possibility. Joe Hayden meeting with the media today at the offseason

workouts had a lot to say about the team, about where they are right now, what happened in 2017.
