I'm Wes Goldberg, and I'm here with Ben Goliver

from the Washington Post, who is joining me from Toronto and as much as I'd like to start with the game because it was a great game.

The Warriors beat the Raptors 106 to 105 to force a game six back in Oakland. But we have to start with Kevin

Durant who suffered an Achilles injury according to Bob Myers, the Warriors GM, who almost

broke down in tears after the game in an impromptu press conference where he said that no one is to blame but if you're going to blame anyone quote blame me

Kevin had an Achilles. I don't know the extent of it. He'll have an MRI tomorrow.

Prior to coming back, he went through four weeks with our medical team and it was thorough

and it was experts and multiple MRIs and multiple doctors.

And we felt good about the process.

He was cleared to play tonight. That was a collaborative decision.

I don't believe there's anybody to blame but I understand is this world and if you have to

you can blame me I run our basketball operations department.

The fact is the Warriors won a must win game to keep their season alive and yet it seemed

like everyone was down and in their feelings because of Duran and look understandably so then you were there can you

paint a picture of what the mood was like after the game was it as surreal as it seemed

absolutely I mean it worse honestly I mean to me it was a basketball tragedy. I mean you're talking about a potential top 10 all-time NBA player in the middle of his prime after spending 10 years trying to chase LeBron James to become the best player in basketball, you know,

sacrificing for his team to get back on the court after facing lots of speculation and

criticism here over the last few days about what's up with his health and all of that.
