Monday and that means the pre-season home opener for the Dallas Mavericks against the Charlotte Hornets.

A rising team, an interesting set of talent out there in Charlotte and

Doug Branson of Lockton Hornets is going to give you about two, three minutes

on what the hell's going on with them. Saturday night was the actual pre-season opener as the Mavericks traveled down to Louisiana and played the New Orleans pelicans, not the Hornets.

They basically didn't play anybody.

The only real starter that got any minutes was Harrison Barnes,

and I think he only played the first half.
