And the Lions got back in the practice field today, met today, got back in the meeting rooms,

Matt Patricia in front of the media, team making a pretty big announcement today with Marvin Jones heading to the injured reserve.

His season is done.

Your 4-7 Detroit Lions, fresh off Thursdays spanking at the hands of the Chicago Bears.

I really wouldn't call it a spanking.

I misspoke there, but lost at the hands of the Chicago Bears in which the bears once again

showed and flexed their muscle defensively. And the Lions could not score, could not get the

offense going, and now dropped to four and seven. Lions host the 10 and 1 Los Angeles Rams Sunday

at Ford Field on what should be a very interesting contest.

The Rams, the NFC's second best team. Only the Saints are better at 10 and 1 because, of course,

the Saints knocked off the Rams earlier this year. But Rams, fresh off by, lions, fresh off

the Thanksgiving loss. And Detroit, sitting in last place in the NFC North at 4 and 7.

But hey, the Packers stink to their 4, 6, and 1 after last night's loss to the Minnesota Vikings.

So we'll get into some Lions talk today, obviously, here on Lockdown Lions.
