Hello and welcome in to the new edition of the Locked on Nuggets podcast.

As you have heard in the last couple

shows, if you've been keeping up, Adam Mada is not going to be hosting this show for this show

and Friday show is the last two. He will be returning on Monday. So everyone who has sent me

emails and things like that that are real nervous about Adam just disappearing from your

lives without any kind of word that is not going to happen you will be hearing from Adam soon

enough he will probably be there to talk about all of my terrible takes that i have thrown out all

over his podcast but rest assured you are not stuck with me i will not be the case so adam

matters will be back But we're going to

get into a bunch of stuff today. As people probably already know, Serbia and USA have both now lost

in back-to-back days. Both have failed to compete for a medal in the FIBA World Cup. And this is

actually the first time in FIBA history that both USA and Serbia,

who was formerly Yugoslavia, both failed to make it to the semifinals.

This was extremely surprising for quite a few people, and I'm going to get into just a couple

little idea that I had in my head about what had happened and why this kind of happened

and where the credit slash blame lands for both teams. So we'll end up getting into both of those

guys losing in the first segment. I also want to talk about France in that first segment because

they're the team that beat USA and man, did they look good. Then we'll take our first break.

Secondly, we're going to dive into Nikola Yokic and what we have learned from his play at

Feeba World Cup.

I know that Serbia still has two games left, but it's hard for me to anticipate an extremely

motivated team on either side playing for fifth place.
