Hey dear listeners, you know the guest of today's Flashback episode from Mean Girls, The Masters of Sex, Freaks and Geeks, Party Down, Fatal Attraction, and a lot more. Here's Lizzie Kaplan.

Ladies and gentlemen, you are listening to On Qualified with your host, Anna Ferris.

Elizabeth Ann Kaplan was born June 30th, 1982 in Los Angeles, California.

Her first acting role was on the cult television series Freaks and Geeks.

She received wider recognition with roles in the films, Mean Girls and Cloverfield. From 2013 to 2016, wow, that's already so long ago.

She played Virginia E. Johnson on the Showtime series, Masters of Sex.

Okay, can I stop you?

Would you mind doing it in a Cockney X?

Elizabeth Ann Kaplan.

Oh my god. I can't do it. I actually have more to add to that.

Like the few British followers that I have, but I love you, you, you, you, you guys know that.

Yeah, they're, they're great. But yeah, I don't know if you're fucking married.

Yeah, to one of them.

Yeah, so I feel like that would have been like a Cinderella shoe for you.

Well, unfortunately, have you like gotten into like the accent thing?

No, and it's funny you bring this up because I realize that every American that goes to England starts talking in the accent.

Every single one. There's like varying degrees, but without fail, at least you start to do the cadence even if you haven't changed your accent.

And it happens to everybody. And I was adamant that it wasn't going to happen to me.

So much so that I had to do an English accent and something recently and realize I have no idea how to do it.

Do you think that's like a manor's thing? Like that you have to structure your sentences in a more educated...

For polite society. You dumb American.

Have you made a lot of friends over there?
