Remember when Liz Truss said this?

To look at everything through the lens of redistribution, I believe is wrong.

Well, it seems like it was a pretty good indication of what she thinks.

She may have frozen energy prices, but in an interview this week,

she confirmed that she's prioritising lifting the cap on bankers' bonuses.

That means the rich get richer that's fine.

If that means taking difficult decisions, yes, I'm absolutely prepared to take those decisions.

If something of a race against the clock this week, the government is announcing

how it plans to help businesses with the energy price cap, get the NHS through the winter,

and finally on Friday we'll get what's being called the mini-budget.

Will it really help?

And what does it tell us about Truss's vision for the country?
