especially during this time with everything going on with COVID-19. So I thought this would be a

that I learned about direct relief from Rachel of Mango Street when I

reached out on Twitter asking about organizations that are helping people during this time.

One of the things that people in hospitals are struggling with is getting protective personal

equipment and direct relief is doing that. So they are providing assistance in the form of

PPE for health workers. They're building an ICU medication model and mobilizing private

resources to build a stockpile to assist with anticipated spikes in ICU patients. And also,

they're boosting support to safety net facilities to address existing chronic gaps that are

likely to grow. And the last point, they're collaborating with infectious disease epidemiologists,

oh, man, words are sometimes hard, and technology companies, and also public agencies to use

aggregated mobility data to support the COVID-19 response.

So they are doing a lot.

I researched a lot of different organizations, and it seems like the hardest thing here in the U.S.

to get proper PPE to our hospitals, despite the fact that, you know, we didn't have an effective

stockpile of supplies, but there's a lot of
