0:05.6	She stays busy, y'all. She's an advisor, angel investor, and former co-founder of Cycle, of Cycle.
0:11.9	And also, how I first learned of Liz is she runs at New York City on Instagram.
0:19.5	It's a very inspirational Instagram account if you would like to follow,
0:23.3	especially during this time with everything going on with COVID-19. So I thought this would be a
0:29.5	special episode to kind of pause the sponsorship for this episode. I talked about an organization
0:34.4	that I learned about direct relief from Rachel of Mango Street when I
0:39.1	reached out on Twitter asking about organizations that are helping people during this time.
0:44.9	One of the things that people in hospitals are struggling with is getting protective personal
0:50.2	equipment and direct relief is doing that. So they are providing assistance in the form of
0:55.8	PPE for health workers. They're building an ICU medication model and mobilizing private
1:01.2	resources to build a stockpile to assist with anticipated spikes in ICU patients. And also,
1:07.1	they're boosting support to safety net facilities to address existing chronic gaps that are
1:12.4	likely to grow. And the last point, they're collaborating with infectious disease epidemiologists,
1:19.2	oh, man, words are sometimes hard, and technology companies, and also public agencies to use
1:25.1	aggregated mobility data to support the COVID-19 response.
1:29.2	So they are doing a lot.
1:31.2	I researched a lot of different organizations, and it seems like the hardest thing here in the U.S.
1:36.7	to get proper PPE to our hospitals, despite the fact that, you know, we didn't have an effective
1:42.9	stockpile of supplies, but there's a lot of
1:45.7	red tape with FTA. So Direct Relief seems like they are already delivering supplies. They have
1:52.1	been consistently and they are going to continue. So me personally, I have already donated $1,000 to
