Amen.

Well last night I started out of Ephesians chapter two sharing about the balance between

grace and faith and last night we just basically focused on that these are two separate things that need

to be combined to be able to see the power of God released in your life and the body of Christ as a whole

is divided between those who emphasize the grace of God alone at the exclusion

of the truth of faith or those who emphasize faith alone at the exclusion

of grace. And both of those are wrong if you take them independent of each other.

Ephesions 2-8 says,

for by grace or you save through faith,

it's the combination of grace and faith together

that releases the power of God.

Grace or faith taken by themselves at the exclusion of the other one

is actually disastrous.

It'll destroy you. And so last night what I did was talk about people who have

emphasized that everything is just up to God, the grace of God, to the exclusion of the fact that we have a part to play in what God does.

And I talked specifically last night about the extreme sovereignty of God teaching where people blame God for every single thing that happens

to us.

And I believe in my opinion that that is the worst doctrine in the body of Christ today because it just renders people passive.
