I went up and told him to lay down and take a nap.

He got up and disobeyed me.

I finally spanked him and told him he had to lay down and take a nap.

And yet Joshua leaned out of that window and was trying to wave at me in the side view mirror and he fell out of that

truck one-year-old hit his eye on the running board and landed on his head right on that ground.

And you know it could have killed him.

Could have broken his neck.

Could have caused some serious damage and boy he was laying on the ground crying.

I went up and hugged and boy he was laying on the ground crying.

I went up and hugged him and held him and prayed over him and when he finally quit crying,

then I said, Joshua, this is what I was telling you.

If you would have obeyed me, this wouldn't have happened.

And I use that negative circumstance to teach him a lesson.

But if Joshua would have been like most Christians, he would have

gone out and told all of his friends, oh my dad is such a wonderful dad that he pushed me

out of the cab of that truck and he gave me a black eye and made me land on my head to teach

me to obey him.

You know if anybody could prove that a parent does stuff like that, I guarantee you the welfare

would come and take you away and lock you up because that is not the right way to discipline
