Well, hey, Jeff and I are glad to be with you guys again today.

Today we're going to try to talk about anything timely and relevant in terms lot's going on in the world.

We are continuing to experience the tremors that have been left over from, actually,

not left over, they're just still rumbling all across the world.

And it seems like one thing triggers another thing, and there's this huge multi-layered domino effect

about what's happening with events in the world today.

And obviously these things all dovetail rather smoothly with the narrative of Bible prophecy that we see recorded in

scripture. And so we just want to continue to not to read the headlines and go find

verses for it, but simply to be discerners of the times and not to be naive. And we were talking last night with some friends of ours at dinner

about how, you know, the purpose of a Bible teacher, specifically a pastor, is to equip the

saints for the work of service. And it says one of the reasons is so that they're not tossed to

and fro by every wind of doctrine. And there's a lot of winds of doctrine that are out there today.

And we want to make sure that we are, you know, covering the relevant topics.

Absolutely. I was thinking the same thing. We kind of wanted to take this a little mid-season

pause, so to speak, to just talk about some current events for two reasons. One, because there's a ton of stuff going on.

And two, there's a ton of confusion and error and people are being tossed to and fro.

There's some intentional deception.

There's also some misinformation.

There's also, you know, like you said, a lot of people reading into scripture,

what's not there. And then, you know, kind of jump into some wild conclusions. And it's not that we're going to tackle that or nitpick that. But we wanted to address, number one, some of the things going on in the world. And then number two, kind of finishing with how should we view this as believers who are watching the signs of the times and who are studying Bible prophecy? How does that give us hope? And how does that ground us during this time when there's so much going on? Yeah, absolutely. In fact, as you were talking,

in my mind just went back to Matthew 24. And, you know, when Jesus is, when they asked Jesus,

Lord, what's going to be the sign of the end times
